las cartas de amor

So, I´ve officially been in Costa Rica for a week. It is super crazy but I am loving it! I am learning millions of things and becoming a "tica" very fast. Oh and BTW, TWO PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY ASKED ME FOR DIRECTIONS! yes! haha. Anyways, today I have a little story about my adventure in the library. I went to the library because I had a ton of time in between classes and I went to the computer lab to play around on the computer. I had been there for about 20 minutes when this short, not so good looking Tico walks up and gives me a letter (I will post the letter when I get WiFi) but it anyways it said in spanish "Hey, you are so beautiful. I  would love to have the pleasure to get to know you. My name is Donald. I am not from here I am from "Guana" (short for Guanacaste, oh yeah, he´s cool) Here is my cell number ..."

okay.. so.. everyone take about 5 mins to laugh... hahah..

okay. alright bring it together. So, here I am telling you that I survived my first love encounter in the big CR! I have had many laughs over this and will probably keep that letter forever! My host family thought that it was the funniest thing and keep telling me I am going to find a boyfriend while I am here. They are LOCO! well, I should go because I need to pack and rest for my trip tomorrow (oh yeah, I am going (to watch people go) zip lining and go on a crocodile tour tomorrow and after, I am going to go to Manuel Antonio to stay in a hostel (how safe!) and go to the beach on Sunday! Yay! I love this life and how blessed I am to be here!
