Life is good.
You know when life is so good and you're just waiting for "something bad" to happen? I think we all know the feeling. This morning, I was on a walk and at first it was leisurely (ya know, just to get my steps in!) but then I found myself walking fast, deep in thought. What was I thinking about that had me so focused to walk fast without knowing it? Well, simply put, because life is good. Life is not always easy. It's not always fun. It's not always a dry season. It's not always a fruitful season. But it's not always hard, either. Different seasons keeps life interesting. It keeps you moving. If it was always the same, we'd be bored and never get anything done. During this walk, I began to praise God for what He has blessed me with and I was so lost in my joy and peace that I was practically running. Life has not been easy lately but it's not been hard though either. It hasn't been a dey season but I haven't necessarily seen all the fruit firsthand or immediately. Has everything gone my way or how I thought it would? Nope, however life is good and that's more than enough. "Something bad" happened in my life recently and I've had to deal with things that I thought I would never have to deal with but this doesn't change the fact that life is good. I choose my joy each day. I keep my peace in knowing the Lord is faithful and on my side and this, makes life good (I could even say great!).
-I have amazing friends. Really, they're amazing. That's all.
-I get to go on a missions trip to Peru! This is SO exciting for me and God provided so quickly and abundantly for this dream to become a reality.
-I'm a part of a encouraging, generous, Jesus-filled church community that I get to lead and serve with.
-I have a good job. Even though I'm not always excited about it. (31 school days til summer but who's counting?)
-I am healthy, even when I make bad food choices or exercise less.
-I'm not alone. Never. Not once.

-My family is so blessed and I'm incredibly honored to be a part of it. I love them. So much.-I have amazing friends. Really, they're amazing. That's all.

...this list could probably go on forever but I'm sure you'll get bored. But yeah, not that I planned to have this moment on purpose or to have this extremely grateful morning but sometimes I think we have to stop, check ourselves and realized what's good. In these quiet moments we remember that even so God is still good.
